Ethylene Propolyne Rubber (EPDM or EP)
Introduced to the rubber world in 1961, EP was initially successful in outstanding resistance to Skydrol and other phosphate-ester type hydraulic fluids. It is now highly recommended for water, steam, hot air/water silicone greases and oils, diluted acids and alkalies, MEK, Acetone, alcohol and automotive brake fluids. It is NOT receommended for petroleum oils, hydrocarbon base fluids and lubricants, and other di-ester base lubricants.
Temperature range: -65° F to 300° F (-54° C to -149° C)
